UEFA Conference League: "Qarabag" will face Kyiv's "Dynamo"

Today, August 6, Azerbaijani club "Qarabag" will play their first match in the III qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.

The team, coached by Gurban Gurbanov, will face Ukrainian club "Dynamo" (Kyiv) away from home.

The match will be officiated by a Danish refereeing team. Morten Krogh has been appointed as the head referee, assisted by Steffen Bramsen and Victor Skytthe. Jakob Karlsen will serve as the fourth official. Jakob Kehlet will be responsible for VAR duties, with Jens Maae appointed as the assistant video referee.

The match will take place at the "Arena Lublin" stadium in Lublin, Poland, and will kick off at 21:00 Baku time. The return leg will be held on August 13 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium in Baku. The opening whistle will sound at 20:00.

It should be noted that the Agdam-based club, having lost to Bulgarian side CSKA (Sofia) in a penalty shootout (4:5) in the II qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, continues its campaign in the Conference League. If the "horsemen" win on aggregate against the Ukrainian club, they will advance to the playoff stage of the tournament.
