Terence Crawford became the undisputed world champion in three weight classes

37-year-old American boxer Terence Crawford moved up two weight classes and became the new undisputed world champion in the super middleweight division, defeating 35-year-old Mexican Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. The fight took place at a stadium in Las Vegas on September 13 in front of more than 70 thousand spectators.
The beginning of the bout was even, but then Crawford started to feel more comfortable. He was more active than his opponent, and Alvarez's punches were not as dangerous as expected and did not knock the American off his fight plan.
In the end, the judges awarded Crawford the victory with scores of 116-112 and 115-113 twice. The American became a world champion in his fifth weight class and an undisputed world champion in his third weight class, writing his name in boxing history.
