Ronaldo reacted to the departure of a legendary player from Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid striker, Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, wished Croatian midfielder Luka Modric success on his social media, as Modric will leave the club after the Club World Cup.
"Thank you for everything, Luka. It was an honor for me to share so many moments with you at the club. I wish you success in everything that happens next," Ronaldo wrote.
On May 22, Modric announced his departure from the club at the end of the season.
40-year-old Ronaldo and 39-year-old Modric played together for Real Madrid from 2012 to 2018.
The Croatian played 590 matches, in which he scored 43 goals and made 95 assists. During this time, he became a four-time Spanish champion, won the country's Cup twice, and the Super Cup five times. Modric won the Champions League six times, and won the UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup five times.
As part of the Croatian national team, the footballer won silver at the 2018 World Cup and bronze in 2022.
