Gurban Gurbanov: My football players are heroes

As Oxu.Az reports, this was stated by the head coach of Azerbaijan's "Qarabag" Gurban Gurbanov after the match with Hungary's "Ferencvaros".

"My footballers are heroes, I congratulate them with all my heart. We have dreamed about this for years, and Allah has given us this day. We wanted to show a better game, but the final result makes us very happy. Believe me, today's match was more tense, and this was felt from the first minutes. After the score became 1:3, everyone believed that we would win. And football proves that any outcome is possible," G.Gurbanov noted.

Recall that "Qarabag" defeated "Ferencvaros" on aggregate over two matches and advanced to the main stage of the UEFA Champions League.
