# Embassy of the United States in Baku addressed citizens of Azerbaijan on visa issues
The U.S. Embassy in Baku is organizing visa procedure meetings for World Cup ticket holders.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the diplomatic mission announced this on its social media page on X.
"Great news for ticket holders planning to visit the U.S. this year to watch FIFA World Cup 2026 matches - we are offering priority scheduling opportunities for U.S. visa appointments! If you purchased a ticket directly through FIFA, you can now join the FIFA PASS program," the embassy's publication states.
For the first time, 48 teams will participate in the 2026 World Cup.
