Armenian wrestler thanked Azerbaijan

I want to thank Azerbaijan for organizing the world championship at such a high level.

As reported by Oxu.Az, Armenian wrestler Yanes Nazaryan, who won the gold medal in the 71 kg weight category at the U-17 World Championship held in Baku, said this to journalists.

According to him, the tournament participants were welcomed at the highest level in the capital of Azerbaijan.

"We are in a very good mood. The competitions were organized at a high level, and the participants were also quite strong. I want to thank the organizers and everyone who took part in preparing the championship. My opponents were very strong. I cannot say that there were weak ones among them - on the contrary, everyone was excellently prepared. But I managed to perform better and achieve a good result," Nazaryan stated.

He noted that in Baku, a warm reception was provided both by the organizers and at the state level. "Everything was in order. We were welcomed very well," the athlete added.
