Tomorrow, traffic on several main roads in Baku will be completely restricted

Tomorrow, May 4, from 09:00 to 16:00, the "Baku Marathon 2025" will take place in the capital of Azerbaijan. In connection with this, traffic on several streets and avenues will be completely blocked to ensure the safety of participants.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Main Department of State Road Police of Baku, the marathon route will start from the State Flag Square and continue along the Seaside Boulevard to the Sea Terminal. Then participants will run through Azadlyg Square, along Neftchilar and November 8 Avenues, then along the boulevard section in the Ag Sheher area and the interchange of the same name, along Khagani Rustamov Street, past the War Trophies Park. The race will also cover the intersection of Yusif Safarov and Ahmed Javadov Streets, Uzeir Hajibeyli Street, Azadlyg Avenue, Zarifa Aliyeva and Rasul Rza Streets, again Neftchilar Avenue and the "Azneft" interchange towards Bail settlement. Further, the route runs along the Bibiheybat Road, around the Water Sports Palace and along the boulevard past Baku Crystal Hall, with the finish at Flag Square.

In addition, due to organizational work, traffic will be blocked from 04:00 to 16:00 on part of Neftchilar Avenue - from the Sea Terminal to Victory Park, including exits from adjacent streets and intersections.
