The first solar eclipse of 2025 began on March 29.
As reported to BAKU.WS by the Department of Astrophysics of the Physics Faculty of Baku State University, the eclipse began at 12:50:35 and will end at 16:43:25. It will last 3 hours 52 minutes and 50 seconds. The peak of the eclipse will occur at 14:48:36.
This is a partial solar eclipse, which is visible in northern Russia, Europe, Northwest Africa, and the Atlantic Ocean.
The eclipse is not observable in Azerbaijan.
