Official data on the situation with measles and chickenpox in Azerbaijan

In Azerbaijan, the current situation with chickenpox and measles incidence has been revealed.

Compared to the same period last year, there has been a decrease in the number of chickenpox and measles cases.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this information was provided by the Republican Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in response to a request from Trend.

It was noted that since March 2024, measles has been registered only in isolated cases throughout the republic.

"Medical and preventive institutions continue to carry out routine vaccination against measles," - the message emphasizes.
