In the Baku - Sumgayit train, the number of carriages has been reduced: passengers are dissatisfied

This morning, there was a significant crowding of passengers in the express train following the Sumgayit - Baku route, which departed at 07:48 according to the new schedule.

As Oxu.Az reports, the highest density was recorded at the Khirdalan and Balajary stations.

The reason was the reduction in the number of carriages from 11 to 7, which caused dissatisfaction among citizens.

It is noted that previously, high-speed trains ran between Sumgayit and Baku via Khirdalan, departing at 07:25, 07:35, 07:45, and 08:00, but now these routes have been canceled.

Instead, old-type express trains have been introduced during the period from 07:20 to 08:12. These trains have two fewer carriages and make stops at all stations, which leads to overcrowding and delays.
