In Ganja, a 57-year-old man raped a 13-year-old girl.

As Oxu.Az reports, the incident occurred on the household plot of one of the houses in the city, known as "Meat Processing Plant".

Local resident Rauf Mamedov (born in 1967, surname is conditional - ed.), while visiting his daughter's house, noticed his son-in-law's cousin A.N. (born in 2012) there and decided to commit sexual acts against her. It turned out that the minor does not live with her parents, but with her grandfather and grandmother. He found out the address of the house and began to visit.

One day, Rauf learned that A.N.'s grandmother and grandfather had gone to the city to visit relatives and would return late. He came to A.N. and said he wanted to talk to her. The girl understood his intentions and asked him not to touch her. However, Rauf, despite the minor's request, tried to hug her. But A.N. pushed him away and moved aside. Rauf took out a knife and a toy gun that looked like a real one from his pocket and began threatening the girl. He said that if she made a sound, he would kill her grandfather and grandmother. Frightened by Rauf's threats, A.N. froze. Taking advantage of this, Rauf knocked the girl to the ground, had sexual intercourse with her, and ordered her not to tell anyone about it. In addition, Rauf ordered the girl to come at his call and have sexual relations with him whenever he wanted. Otherwise, Rauf again threatened to kill her grandfather and grandmother.

Thus, he had sexual intercourse with the girl several times in the yard of her grandfather's house.

One day, Rauf called the girl for a meeting again, but she did not respond to his call and went to school. Rauf followed her, called her to the school yard, and began to threaten her. One of the teachers saw them in the school yard and asked Rauf what his purpose was. Seeing the approaching teacher, Rauf fled the scene.

The teacher reported the incident to the girl's father and grandfather. After this, the teenager told her parents about what had happened.

A criminal case was opened on this fact, Rauf was detained by police officers and handed over to the investigation.

The Ganja Court for Serious Crimes sentenced R. Mamedov to 17 years in prison.
