This year, another increase in benefits and pensions is planned.

According to BAKU.WS, this was announced at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

As part of the new package of social reforms, in addition to increasing the minimum wage by 16% to 400 manats and the minimum pension by 14.3% to 320 manats, there will also be an increase in benefits and other social payments.

In parallel with the increase in social payments, employment programs are being expanded, and innovative approaches in social services are being implemented.

It was noted that in the first quarter of this year, 475 thousand people received benefits totaling 275 million manats, and 402 thousand people received presidential scholarships amounting to 173 million manats.
