AZAL has changed the rules for purchasing air tickets to Fuzuli

From May 1, 2025, changes to the rules for purchasing airline tickets for "Azerbaijan Airlines" (AZAL) flights on the Baku-Fizuli-Baku route will come into effect.

AZAL informed BAKU.WS about this.

According to the new rules, citizens of Azerbaijan can purchase airline tickets for this route directly on the official website or in the AZAL mobile application without the need to obtain special permission. This option applies to the purchase of tickets for the airline's flights in both directions.

The necessary travel permits are now processed automatically by the system, eliminating the need to submit an additional application through the Yolumuz Qarabağa ("Our Way to Karabakh") portal.

The changes have been implemented to simplify the procedure and increase convenience when planning trips for citizens of Azerbaijan.

Foreign citizens still need to obtain prior permission from the relevant state authorities to visit Fizuli.

Note that flights on the Baku-Fizuli-Baku route operate twice a week - on Saturdays and Sundays.
