A terrorist group has been neutralized in Azerbaijan

Employees of the State Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs took joint comprehensive measures to identify terrorist provocative actions and suppress illegal activities on the territory of Azerbaijan by members of radical religious extremist groups associated with international terrorist organizations. As Baku.ws reports, this is stated in the message of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan. Through operational investigative measures, it was established that Gadir Hajiyev, who was convicted for participating in the activities of the terrorist group "Forest Brothers," entered into criminal relations with residents of the Gusar district - Kamran Kerimkhanov, Umud Gulaliyev, Valerik Adilov, Riyad Safaraliyev, Rovshan Lachinov, Nazim Zakiyev and others. They were preparing terrorist attacks in the Gusar district, creating underground shelters in the forest area near the villages of Khil, Jibir, and Yasab, where they stored ammunition, explosives, technical devices, and other means.
