Xi Jinping: China and Azerbaijan must open a new chapter of cooperation

Despite the constantly changing international situation, Chinese-Azerbaijani relations remain strong and stable.

As reported by Chinese media, this was stated by the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping during negotiations with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

"Both countries always remember the original intention of establishing diplomatic relations and adhere to the principles of mutual respect, justice and impartiality, as well as mutually beneficial cooperation. Both sides should continue to strengthen political mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation, strengthen international cooperation, and open a new chapter of comprehensive cooperation," he said.

The leader of the PRC noted the importance of developing cooperation between the two countries.
