UN welcomes negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia

UN Secretary-General António Guterres welcomes negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

This was stated to Report by the UN Secretary-General's spokesperson Stephane Dujarric.

According to him, the Secretary-General appreciates the statements on the completion of negotiations on the draft peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan:

"He is satisfied with the progress made by the parties towards normalizing relations, and strongly supports their efforts to resolve all outstanding issues in the interest of long-term peace in the region," Dujarric noted.
