As AZERTAJ reports, US President Donald Trump stated this while speaking about the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan at the first meeting of the "Peace Council" being held in Washington.
The US President noted that he achieved peace between two very important countries and will never forget it.
"I want to thank you. This was a great thing that you and your new friend accomplished. We worked 24 hours, and it was a good result. I think they have become friends," he added.
