The President of Somalia visited Victory Park in Baku

On February 12, the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, visited the Victory Park in Baku.

As reported by Baku.ws, a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest.

The President of Somalia laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in the park.

Then he was provided with detailed information about Victory Park, created to perpetuate the unprecedented heroism shown by the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War, their grand historical Victory, and the bright memory of our martyrs. It was noted that at the entrance to the park, which covers an area of about 10 hectares, a Triumphal Arch was built with a height of 44 m, width of 22 m, and 44 columns as a symbol of the 44-day Patriotic War.

Recall that the park was opened on November 8, 2024, with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva.
