On May 7, the official welcoming ceremony for the General Secretary of the Central Committee (CC) of the Communist Party of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam, who arrived in Azerbaijan on a state visit, took place.

As reported by AZERTAG, a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest at the square where the state flags of both countries were flying.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva welcomed the General Secretary of the CC of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam and his wife Ngo Phuong Ly.

The head of the guard of honor reported to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The national anthems of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Azerbaijan were played.

To the sounds of a military march, the guard of honor marched past the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam.
