The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan expressed condolences to Iraq

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan expressed condolences to Iraq in connection with the fire in a shopping center in the city of Kut south of Baghdad, which claimed the lives of about 50 people.

The corresponding publication was posted on the page of Azerbaijan's foreign policy department on the social network X.

"We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life as a result of the fire in a shopping center in the Iraqi city of Kut. We express our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as to the government and people of friendly Iraq. We wish patience and strength to all who are grieving and a speedy recovery to those injured," the post says.
