The Chamber of Appraisers has awarded media structures belonging to Global Media Group

The Chamber of Appraisers of Azerbaijan awarded certificates to Report News Agency and Baku TV, which are part of Global Media Group, for covering the Chamber's activities throughout the year.

As BAKU.WS reports, Report News Agency and Baku TV were awarded during a large-scale official event dedicated to the anniversary of the Chamber of Appraisers of Azerbaijan's launch and "Appraiser Profession Day".

The ceremony was attended by representatives of state structures, chairpersons of Milli Mejlis committees, deputies, representatives of international organizations, and appraisers from across the country.

At the opening of the event, the Chairman of the Chamber of Appraisers of Azerbaijan, Nusret Ibrahimov, presented information about the work done by the Chamber during the past period, as well as the institutional and regulatory innovations introduced. He emphasized that the Chamber was established in accordance with the law "On Appraisal Activity" and occupies a significant place in the country's economic management system as an authorized body performing regulatory and control functions.

In his speech, Nusret Ibrahimov noted that as part of the digital transformation policy implemented under the leadership of Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev, the Chamber has been integrated into the my.gov.az portal. All appraisal conclusions and reports are now processed through a single electronic platform, which has become a significant step toward transparency, accessibility, and efficiency.

The chairpersons of Milli Mejlis committees Zahid Oruj, Anar Iskenderov, Sadiq Gurbanov, deputies, as well as heads of state structures, in their speeches highly appreciated the work done by the Chamber in a short time in forming an institutional base, implementing professional standards, and ensuring orderly activities in the appraisal sector.

The ceremony was also attended by leaders and representatives of appraisal associations from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia. Foreign participants shared their impressions about the structure, regulatory framework, and achievements of the Chamber in developing international cooperation during its first year of operation.

As part of the event, an appeal to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev was adopted on behalf of the country's appraisers. The appeal proposed to mark the first anniversary of the Chamber and establish November 30 as "Appraiser Profession Day," and also expressed gratitude to the head of state.

After the completion of the official part, the event continued in an informal setting.
