Tactical exercises with live firing were conducted with rocket-artillery batteries

In accordance with the combat training plan for the current year, tactical exercises with live firing were conducted in the units of the rocket and artillery forces.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

According to the plan, tasks were performed to advance units from permanent deployment points to concentration areas, deploy on the terrain, bring equipment to combat readiness, and occupy firing positions.

During the exercises, units performed combat firing from howitzers and multiple launch rocket systems. In the exercises, during which targets of the simulated enemy were destroyed by precise artillery fire, all assigned tasks were successfully completed.

The main purpose of the exercises is to improve the skills of the command staff in making operational decisions, increase the level of knowledge and skills, plan actions during combat operations, develop interaction with other types of troops, as well as strengthen the field and practical skills of personnel.
