President of Azerbaijan received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain

On October 14, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

As reported by AZERTAC, the guest conveyed greetings from King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the head of our state. He noted that the King attaches great importance to relations with Azerbaijan.

Expressing gratitude for the greetings, President Ilham Aliyev asked to convey his greetings to the King of Bahrain as well.

The head of state noted that our countries are bound by friendly and brotherly relations and a high-level partnership.

President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Azerbaijan also provides a good opportunity to discuss various aspects of bilateral ties.

Congratulating President Ilham Aliyev on the extension of our country's chairmanship of CICA, the guest noted that Azerbaijan chairs this organization at a high level.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on issues of developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bahrain in various spheres.
