President Ilham Aliyev appointed judges to a number of first instance courts

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the appointment of judges to a number of first instance courts.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the document states:

"Taking into account the proposals of the Judicial Legal Council and guided by paragraph 9 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:

1. In accordance with Articles 94 and 96 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Courts and Judges," the following candidates for judicial positions shall be appointed as judges of first instance courts:

for courts on grave crimes:

Court on Grave Crimes of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

Rahimova Aybaniz Muhammad gizi

for administrative courts:

Administrative Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic
