Armenia is committed to the agreements reached with Azerbaijan in the US and is determined to implement them quickly.

As Oxu.Az reports with reference to TASS, this was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the SCO+ summit in Tianjin, China.

"I want to confirm the Republic of Armenia's commitment to the agreements reached, and we are determined to implement them as soon as possible. As a result of all this, not only will communication between Armenia and Azerbaijan open at the domestic, bilateral and international levels, but new logistical opportunities will be created for all member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, including our neighbors and Azerbaijan's closest neighbors," said the Prime Minister.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint declaration on August 8 following a trilateral meeting in Washington with US President Donald Trump. It includes seven points that emphasize Baku and Yerevan's commitment to peace. The declaration notes that the parties have initialed the previously agreed text of an agreement on establishing peace and restoring relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and will make efforts for its final ratification. In addition, Yerevan and Baku signed a joint appeal to the OSCE on the dissolution of the Minsk Group.
