Mikail Jabbarov: Trade cooperation between Azerbaijan and the USA is developing on an upward trajectory

Trade cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States has been developing along an upward trajectory for many years.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov at a special government meeting dedicated to the results of the President of Azerbaijan's visit to the United States.

According to him, in 2024 the volume of mutual trade turnover amounted to 1.7 billion dollars, which is 94% more compared to 2023, of which 1.6 billion dollars accounts for imports from the USA, and 135 million dollars - for Azerbaijani exports to this country.

"Azerbaijan maintains investment attractiveness for American companies. In the fields of agriculture, industry, transport, construction, and trade, 300 companies (with American capital - ed.) are registered," the minister noted.

According to him, the meetings held in the USA will create opportunities for increasing the economic potential of the countries.
