Masud Pezeshkian announced support for the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian addressed the peace process in the South Caucasus during his speech at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Telegram channel "Free Iran".
"Iran supports peace and stability. We believe that the future of the region and the world should be built on cooperation, trust and mutual development. In this context, Iran supports the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia," he stated.
Pezeshkian also added that Tehran welcomes the creation of a defense alliance between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
