Ismail Veliyev released from prison

Former head of the Executive Power (EP) of Neftchala district Ismayil Veliyev has been released.

As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Qafqazinfo, the amnesty also applied to him.

Veliyev left the correctional facility where he was serving his sentence.

Recall that he was found guilty of embezzlement and bribery and sentenced to 6 years and 2 months in prison. At the time of the amnesty, he had four months left to serve.
