For many years, the energy sector has been our number one priority, as our available resources have allowed us to improve economic indicators and enhance the standard of living of the population.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at an event called "Breakfast with the Leadership of Azerbaijan" as part of the World Economic Forum in Davos, answering questions from business representatives from various countries.

Emphasizing that today most of the energy projects have been completed, the head of state noted: "Yes, we continue, and of course, we will be able to offer even more to international markets. But, of course, priority is given to the non-energy sector, the non-oil and gas sector."
