President Ilham Aliyev invited his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay a state visit to Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the head of state said this in a press statement with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

"I would like to invite you, Shavkat Miromonovich, to visit Azerbaijan on a state visit at a time convenient for you," the President noted.

He expressed confidence that both sides would work together to bring our countries and peoples even closer together.
