Ilham Aliyev congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of the successful holding of the first elections to the new parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Kurultai.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the text of the message reads:

"Dear Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich,

I extend to you and your brotherly people my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the successful holding of the first elections to the new parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Kurultai.

I express my confidence that this important event, symbolizing the beginning of a new historical stage in the social and political life of Kazakhstan, will serve the comprehensive development of your country, the continuation of the large-scale reforms you are carrying out, and the implementation of upcoming tasks. I wish the work of the Kurultai every success.
