Hikmet Hajiyev: Azerbaijan-Iran relations have entered a new stage of development

Azerbaijan-Iranian relations have entered a new stage of development.
As BAKU.WS reports with reference to Report, this was stated by the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev to the Iranian agency Tasnim.
"I believe that relations between Azerbaijan and Iran have entered a new stage of development," said H. Hajiyev.
The presidential assistant also spoke about the factors that contributed to this development.
"After the official visit of Iranian President [Masoud] Pezeshkian to Azerbaijan, the one-on-one discussions held with him by our President Ilham Aliyev, as well as discussions at the delegation level, gave new impetus, new breath to the development of Iranian-Azerbaijani relations. Based on this, our task with our colleagues from Iran is to advance these relations even further," he said.
