It is reported that the arrival of leaders in Antalya began the previous afternoon, with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev being the first to arrive in the city. He is expected to hold a personal meeting with President Erdoğan today. In addition, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev is participating as a speaker in one of the sessions.

During his engagements, Ilham Aliyev held talks with the head of the Syrian Arab Republic for the transitional period, Ahmed al-Sharaa, and also met with the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Tufan Erhürman. During the conversation, the Azerbaijani leader congratulated Erhürman on his election as head of the TRNC. At the meeting, where Baku's support for Northern Cyprus was once again reaffirmed, particular attention was given to the issue of obtaining observer status in the Organization of Turkic States. Alongside official speeches and discussions, bilateral meetings between leaders of countries are actively continuing on the sidelines of the forum.

In addition, a meeting of the heads of foreign ministries of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States is planned within the framework of the event. Amid growing global instability, participants regularly highlight the increasing role of this organization and continue to take steps aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation.
