Haber Global: Ilham Aliyev delivered important messages at the Baku Energy Week

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the official opening ceremony of the 31st International Exhibition "Caspian Oil and Gas" - Caspian Oil and Gas, the 14th Caspian International Exhibition "Clean Energy" - Caspian Power, and the 31st Baku Energy Forum, held within the framework of Baku Energy Week.

This was reported in a segment by the Haber Global TV channel dedicated to Baku Energy Week.

As noted, the President of Azerbaijan delivered important messages at Baku Energy Week and emphasized that the Zangezur corridor project, which is of critical importance for the entire Turkic world, will definitely be implemented.

"The Zangezur corridor, which will become another branch of the East-West corridor, will certainly be built in accordance with the document signed on August 8 of last year at the White House between the President of the United States, the Prime Minister of Armenia, and myself," the head of state declared.

President Ilham Aliyev also drew attention to Azerbaijan's growing role in the global energy dialogue.

"Today it is difficult to imagine the state of the European energy market without the Southern Gas Corridor. As I have already said, we are supplying gas to an increasing number of countries. Last year, here at Baku Energy Week, I informed the audience about twelve recipient countries of Azerbaijani gas. Today their number stands at sixteen, including ten European Union member states. Certainly, this number will grow," the head of state said.
