Azerbaijan and Turkey signed a Memorandum of Understanding on energy efficiency
The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Turkey signed a Memorandum of Understanding on technical cooperation in the field of energy efficiency of buildings.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov in his account on the social network "X".
According to him, within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku, a meeting was held jointly with COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev and the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Turkey, COP31 President Murat Kurum.
"Azerbaijani-Turkish energy cooperation is expanding not only in the direction of energy security, but also in the direction of energy efficiency, which is one of the main pillars of the energy transition," he noted.
