An interesting episode in Tashkent: a student greeted Ilham Aliyev in the Azerbaijani language

Presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami Ganjavi.

As reported by a Baku TV correspondent from Tashkent, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev asked the students whether they liked the conditions created at the university. The students responded affirmatively.

Then President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude to his Uzbek counterpart for the Mirza Ulugbek school built in Fuzuli on the initiative of Uzbekistan, as well as for the deep respect for the memory of Nizami Ganjavi in Uzbekistan.

One of the students of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami Ganjavi greeted the President of Azerbaijan in the Azerbaijani language and recited poems of her own composition.

She then presented books as gifts to the heads of state. At the end of the meeting, the presidents of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan took a commemorative photo with the students.
