Alexander Vučić thanked President Ilham Aliyev

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić expressed his gratitude to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who is on an official visit to Serbia.

As reported by BAKU.WS, A. Vučić noted the following in his speech:

"Thank you for this visit. I know how important and busy your work schedule is. Please feel at home.

Our Chinese friends say that when it rains like this, it is always a good sign for great undertakings. I hope that, despite the unfavorable weather conditions, we will embrace this event in the best possible way and see what a bright future awaits both Serbia and Azerbaijan. At least when it comes to our bilateral relations.

I want to express great respect to the Azerbaijani people and to you personally, dear Mr. President. In addition, I want to say before the Serbian people and, of course, before the Azerbaijani people, that every time I communicate with you, I learn a lot, I have the opportunity to see many issues from the perspective from which an experienced statesman, a true leader, sees them. Therefore, I am always grateful to you for sharing your knowledge with me and for establishing such connections with us, thanks to which the country I lead can learn a great deal of useful things."
