A capital resident went to court, claiming serious complications after surgery, for which she paid 2,380 manats.

As reported by Xəzər TV, Baku resident Firuza Aliyeva claims that after surgery to correct a deviated nasal septum and rhinoplasty, she experienced serious health problems. According to her, after the surgical intervention, she was diagnosed with brain trauma, deteriorated vision, difficulty breathing, and inflammation in the channels between the nostrils.

According to Firuza Aliyeva, the surgery was performed about a year ago at one of the private clinics in the capital by ENT surgeon Babek Hasanly. However, as the patient claims, the expected result was not achieved, and her health condition worsened.

She also stated that, in addition to the 2,380 manats paid for the operation, she had to spend more than 6 thousand manats on subsequent treatment of complications. In this regard, Aliyeva went to court with a claim for compensation from the doctor.

In turn, ENT surgeon Babek Hasanly, commenting on the situation, stated that the patient did not follow the prescribed post-operative treatment and rehabilitation recommendations.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Nasimi District reported that an investigation is being conducted on this fact.
