Mikail Jabbarov re-elected as president of the Wrestling Federation of Azerbaijan

The general assembly of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation was held, during which the organization's leadership was elected.

As reported by BAKU.WS, according to the voting results, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov was re-elected as president of the federation for the next four years.

Namig Aliyev, who is a member of the United World Wrestling (UWW) Bureau, was re-elected as vice-president.

Also, through voting, the composition of the Executive Committee was determined, which includes Mikayil Jabbarov, Namig Aliyev, Namig Abdullayev, Farid Mansurov and Vasif Mamedov.

In his closing speech, the head of the economic department outlined the goals and directions of the federation's activities for the next four years. He wished the athletes new achievements in competitions and successful preparation for international tournaments.

Recall that Mikayil Jabbarov has been the president of the federation since December 8, 2023.
