iPhone Users Face Unexplainable Problem
iPhone users began complaining about the appearance of a red tint on photos saved on Apple devices.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Android Authority, owners of some smartphones noticed that certain images in the "Photos" application acquire a pronounced red color. According to preliminary data, the problem affects photographs taken on Android smartphones and then transferred to iPhones.
Apple has not yet commented on the cause of the malfunction, but experts suggest it may be related to the operation of HDR technology. In particular, Reddit user Jonkmclovin reported that all photos taken on a Motorola Razr and saved on his iPhone became reddish. A similar problem was described by another user - djenki0119, whose distortions affected images from the Samsung Galaxy S24 camera. It is noted that all affected devices are running the iOS 26 operating system.
Users have found a temporary solution to the problem: you need to open the image in edit mode and press the "Cancel" button. According to Android Authority experts, the malfunction may be caused by incompatibility of HDR standards, which differ depending on the smartphone manufacturer.
