From August 26 to 29, periodic rains are expected in some mountainous and foothill regions of Azerbaijan.

This is reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

In some places, the precipitation will be in the form of brief heavy showers, with possible thunderstorms and hail.

Due to the rains, water levels in rivers will rise. Brief flooding cannot be ruled out in some mountain rivers.

Air temperatures across the country will gradually decrease by 4-8 degrees compared to previous days.
