The average annual inflation in Azerbaijan for January-August has been revealed

The average annual inflation in Azerbaijan for the period January-August 2025 was 5.6%. At the same time, prices for food products, beverages and tobacco products increased by 6.6%, for non-food products - by 2.6%, and services became more expensive by 6.9%.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the State Statistics Committee, in August of this year, inflation in annual terms was 4.9%. In particular, food prices rose by 6.6%, non-food products - by 2.1%, and services - by 4.9%.
On a monthly basis (August compared to July 2025), inflation was 0.4%.
