SOCAR plant in Turkey increased production of liquefied petroleum gas by 67%

The STAR oil refinery, owned by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkey, produced more than 137,987 tons of liquefied petroleum gas in January-June of this year.
As Report informs with reference to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey (EPDK), this is 66.7% more compared to the first half of 2024
In June of this year, the STAR refinery produced more than 28,529 tons of liquefied petroleum gas, which is 3.4 times more compared to June 2024.
In total, Turkey's oil refineries produced 551,162 tons in January-June of this year, and about 99,403,874 tons of diesel fuel in June, which is 15.9% and 18.1% more respectively compared to the indicators of the same period last year.
