Ministry of Economy and SOCAR signed memorandums of understanding with bp

The Ministry of Economy and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) signed memorandums of understanding with bp.

As reported by BAKU.WS, Minister Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this in his account on the social network X.

"Within the framework of a meeting with bp Chief Executive Officer Ms. Meg O'Neill, documents were signed with bp Exploration (Caspian Sea) Limited. The Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure development between the Ministry of Economy and bp Exploration Limited provides for strengthening the HPC infrastructure being created by the ministry based on bp's experience in the direction of digital economy development.

The Memorandum of Understanding signed between bp Exploration Limited and SOCAR will give impetus to the expansion of cooperation between the parties in the energy sector and the strengthening of our country's position as a global energy hub," the minister noted.
