Mikail Jabbarov: Investments amounting to 3% of GDP are being directed toward the reconstruction of Karabakh
The government of Azerbaijan is investing large volumes of investment in the restoration of the liberated territories.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov at a dialogue session within the framework of the 51st annual meeting of the IsDB in Baku.
According to him, the state's direct financial obligations related to the liberated territories amount to approximately 3% of the country's gross domestic product: "These investments are being made without negatively affecting the financing of other national development programs."
Jabbarov added that Azerbaijan's strategic foreign currency reserves exceed the volume of the gross domestic product: "It is precisely these reserves that have enabled the state to finance large-scale infrastructure projects and the restoration of the liberated territories."
