In 2026, nearly 44% of budget revenue will come from taxes

In 2026, 16 billion 910 million manats, or 43.8% of state budget revenues, will come from the State Tax Service of Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, this is reflected in the budget package for 2026 submitted to the Milli Majlis.

Of the total budget revenues, 12 billion 835 million manats (33.2%) will be transfers from the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan, 6 billion 862 million manats (17.8%) will be revenues through the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, 1 billion 21 million manats (2.6%) will be paid services of budget organizations, and 981 million manats (2.6%) will be other revenues.

The projected volume of revenues through the State Tax Service will amount to 12.6% of the gross domestic product (GDP), which is 1 billion 410 million manats, or 9.1%, more than the current year's forecast and 1 billion 102 million manats, or 7%, more than the budget execution indicator for 2024.
