In January-November 2025, goods worth 58 billion 571.3 million manats were sold to consumers in the country's retail trade network. Of this amount, 31 billion 937.1 million manats were food products, beverages and tobacco products, and 26 billion 634.2 million manats were non-food items.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the State Statistics Committee, compared to the same period last year, retail trade turnover in real terms increased by 3.7%. The growth in food products, beverages and tobacco products was 1.2%, and in non-food items - 6.7%.

During the reporting period, 50.4% of the funds spent by customers in the retail trade network were directed to the purchase of food products, 4.1% - to beverages and tobacco products, 14.9% - to textile products, clothing and footwear. In addition, 6% of expenses were for automotive gasoline and diesel fuel, 4.8% - for electrical goods and furniture, 2.4% - for pharmaceutical products and medical equipment, 1.4% - for computers, telecommunications equipment and printed products. The remaining 16% were other non-food items.

The value of goods sold by economic entities of the non-state sector increased in real terms by 3.7%, accounting for 99.8% of the total retail trade turnover.

In January-November 2025, retail trade turnover increased by 7% for enterprises, by 1.2% for individual entrepreneurs, and by 4.8% for markets and fairs.

During the reporting period, goods worth 519.9 manats per month were attributed to each resident in the retail trade network. Of these, 283.5 manats were for food products, beverages and tobacco products, and 236.4 manats were for non-food items.
