EIA left unchanged its forecast for oil production in Azerbaijan this year
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the U.S. Department of Energy has left unchanged its forecast for daily oil production in Azerbaijan for 2026.
As Report informs, this is stated in the data published by the EIA in the April issue of its "Short-Term Energy Outlook" report.
According to the updated EIA data, oil production in Azerbaijan this year will amount to 540 thousand barrels per day, the same as last year.
Oil production in the first quarter of this year is expected to reach 550 thousand b/d. This coincides with the March forecast.
In Q2 of this year, daily oil production will amount to 540 thousand barrels, which also coincides with last month's forecast. Oil production in Q3 and Q4 of this year is expected to reach 530 thousand b/d.
It should be recalled that in Q1 and Q2 of 2025, oil production amounted to 570 thousand b/d, and in Q3 and Q4 — 560 thousand b/d.
According to EIA data, liquid hydrocarbon production in Azerbaijan in 2025 amounted to 570 thousand b/d.
