Azerbaijan and BP discussed the implementation of a green energy corridor

The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and BP discussed the development of existing energy projects, as well as the implementation of a green energy corridor and interconnectors.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the discussions took place at a meeting between Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and a delegation led by BP Chief Executive Officer Murray Auchincloss.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the cooperation with the company in the fields of oil, gas and renewable energy, and the important role of using various types of energy in addressing energy security, environmental protection and sustainability issues was emphasized. In this context, it was particularly noted that Azerbaijan is an exemplary country, and cooperation with BP, which began in the oil and gas sector, successfully continues with the renewable energy project - "Shafag" solar power plant.
In addition, there was an exchange of views on development trends in global energy markets.
