The Deputy Head of the State Agency for the Protection of Strategic Objects of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel Fizuli Imraliyev, has been promoted to the rank of Major General.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Unikal, during the Patriotic War he commanded the "Cobra" special forces unit of the Internal Troops. Imraliyev participated in battles on the Hadrut and Shusha fronts, and was wounded during the operation in Dashalty.
On December 9, 2020, by order of President Ilham Aliyev, Fizuli Imraliyev was awarded the honorary title of "Hero of the Patriotic War."
